Looking at these 3 models and have dropped the 2210 and now looking at the 4110 and 7500. That 2210 unprotected oil filter at the underneath back bothered me and all my 3 tractor owner friends are saying I will be happier with the bigger models. For me the 7500 would be $1300 more than the 2210 and the 4110 will be $1000 more than the 7500. I'm going for FEL and hog on both models. The 7500 would have a 48" hog and the 4110 would have a 60" hog. Main use will be mowing 3.5-4 acres (semi rough, black berries), some landscaping (dirt-moving and rock drive maintenance). I'm leaning to the 7500 because $1000 less and 3 yr Kub warranty vs. 2 yr JD. Comments welcome. (also posted to JD owning/buying)

Does anyone have information explaning the JD Hydraulic oil specifications.<br>I want to service the transmission and filter on my 850, and I don't think<br>JD is the only available oil for it. It calls for JDM J20 in the manual.<br>What is the standard ISO grade, viscosity, and weight? Or where can I cross the <br>JDM specs to other oils?

If the tractor appears to have been well kept - buy it. <br>The issue more often than not is that there are a lot of abused machines<br>out there in the used market. If you have found something that fits <br>how you will keep your, go for it. That doesn't seem like a bad price, considering the equipment<br>that is with it.

I just bought a JD850, and gan't leave it. I love the tractor. The 950 is the same but a little bigger.<br>What exactly are you going to be using the machine for. I would let that<br>guide your decision.

I found a pretty clean 850 at a local dealer with 1100 hrs, and all original. No apparent problems whatsoever. He wants 7600.00 ??? Should I buy, or keep looking.
