90% of my riding is on dirt roads in the vicinty of our mountain cabin and about the only time I go off-road is on my property and since I am familiar with it there is not much chance of me tearing a cv boot or bottoming out; but I have looked at both the skid plate and the cv joint guards.

My neighbors (within a mile) have a Mule and a Kubota and there is no way I would trade my Gator for both of them combined.:)
