Just got my first tractor, a B7510HST, with rake and FEL. I'm a little surprised at how noisy the transmission becomes under load in 2 or 4 wheel, high or low range, when I'm moving under load (uphill or rough terrain). Fluid level is full up, and the machine is new (2 hours). Is transmission whine typical?

I'd appreciate any views on the value of adding the flip-down scraper blade to the landpride rake. Does it really come close to being a box scraper, or is it not worth the $300+ I've been quoted?

I'm getting a landpride LR72 rake for cleaning up my fields and some drive grading. The dealer told me the optional flip down grader blade makes the rake into a sort of box scraper, which could help me level things out. Is this option worth the $325 he quoted? My tractor (coming next week) has a FEL. I'm a complete novice and will appreciate any replies.

I've never had a tractor before but now need one for landscaping and drive maintenance on a new property in Maine. The Deere 4110 and Kubota B7510 look the right size; my closest dealer carries both and the Kubota is about $1800 cheaper than the Deere. He offers the 7510 HSD with FEL for $13500, delivered, with other accessories in proportion. I've seen prices around $12000 posted in earlier messages on this board. Can someone tell me some prices they've heard from other dealers? What would delivery from another state likely cost?
