A front blade is the way to go, With a rear blade you drive over and pack the snow before it is removed. If you reverse the blade you will have to back up all the time for a clean sweep.

I got my jd2305 this evening, my wife pulled a surpurise on me and had it parked in my garage bay. what a jolt it is to hit the remote and see a new green machine! gotta go and find something to dig!

thanks for all the replys, i decided to go with the jd 2305 with the 200cx loader and r4 tires. the next thing i have to consider is a landscape rake. the frontier rake is around 900 bucks, but i have seen some in nothern tool for around $350, any suggestions?
I should get delivery of my 2305 next wednesday, kinda like christmas in october. PS good pics bmeyer!

I saw a JD650 (private sale) today with a FEL and in fairly good shape. it had 630 hours on the meter,tires looked good,paint was good for the most part. the asking price was $7500. I dont know if it was a good deal or not.
