My 1050 has three dash lights ( temp, charge, and oil). When the key is turned one click to right just before starting, the temp and oil lights come on but the charge light does not. Does this mean there is a charging problem or the light bulb itself has a problem? <br>

Does anyone know if all three are supposed to momentarily light berfore engaging starter? I think 850's and 950's may use the same dash lights but I'm not certain.<br>

I have a modular home that had similarly odd venting connections. A three inch vent ran from the crawl space to the second story. We ran our own venting but when we smoke tested, found other connections. I recall the plumber saying we could not just seal the ends but had to cut all connections to prevent accumulating condensation. I will call him to get my story straight and maybe then I will be able to offer something useful.

I just wanted to clarify the machine didn't smoke at idle but as the rpm's were dropping but I guess it was just the last of the smoke being expelled.

I have done a 1050 clutch and Murf is right. Make some good rolling stands first. I assembled a back one fixed in place and a manueverable one utilizing a rolling jack. It wasn't overly complicated but definitely involved. Good luck.

And yes manual photos and illustrations do help.

I have seen that three or four times now and people were actually bidding on the machines! It can be difficult to catch up to these individuals. Just make sure you have contact and verification with the person before you make a bid!!

Well, I forgot dig. camera when I looked at it again but I will get some pics shortly. We decided on $13,000 and I still think it's a good deal. It has a number 80 bucket, 8 backhoe and a canopy. It also has only 595 hours, which is great for a machine this age. Thanks for the advice...
