Hi, I just sold my 87' B8200HST with FEL and 6ft. rear finish mower for 12k. So the price for the B2150 is good if you ask me. See if the dealer gives any warranty on his used stuff.

The switch that was left on was the flashers or hazard lights. There is a red knob on the lower right side of the dash, that is the kill switch and has to be in for the tractor to start. Also the clutch petal has to be down for it to turn over. Charge the battery and then try to start it. Turn the key to the left for at least 30 sec. and then to the right to start it. with a good battery it should start right up. These are great tractors, just sold my B8200HST and got a B2710. Good luck with it.

I don't know what you mean by loader on the back, but if you mean FEL and mower than 6k is cheap. I just sold a 87 B8200HST w/ FEL and 6ft. rear finish mower for 12k with 980 hrs. It looked like it was new and was well maintained.

The correct loader is a LA350 for your tractor. I had one on my B8200 that I just sold. I know Bush Hog makes a loader that will fit, and it will cost less than the Kubota loader.

The reason for the orange paint is so they can find it in the tall grass after it brakes down. Now Kubota paints thier tractors orange so the state highway dept. don't have to repaint them. Also the match the sunset when riding into it!

I have a Jeep GC with the 6cyl. and I pull my Kubota B8200 with loader and rotory cutter between my two homes (about 12 miles apart) with a duel axle trailer with elec. brakes. The traler is rated for 7000lbs. and I have not had any problems with it at all. No I would not want to do it all the time, but for the twice a month I do it works great. And yes you do know that the trailer is there, but common sense is all that is needed and go slow. There are a lot of hills between the homes and the Jeep works quite well for them. The Jeep does have the factory towing package on it. Don't under estmate the towing of the jeep, If it could not pull 5000lbs. the factory would not state it in the owners man. and the una-body sub frame is not going to fall apart either. These trucks ( yes trucks!) are very tough and can handle the load when used correctly. Just my $00.02 Von.

Well the ice is here and the kids are skating, still not thick enough for the zamboni yet. Hopefully in a few days I can see what its like to drive it on ice.

About reel cutters, I had a three gang setup made by toro that was from a golf corse to cut my 5 ac. While they do cut nice they are a pain to sharpen and you have to cut the grass all the time (like 2 to 3 times a week). Plus if it gets over 2" from your last cut it just folds it over and misses. The ploblem with flail mowers is the long roller will dig up the yard on tight turns and is not for finish mowing. The best is what Bird has stated and I have the same 5 ft. Howse rotory cutter and a Ford (made by Woods) 6 ft. 3 pt. finish mower. I use a Kubota B8200 HST but am looking at a B2710 with 100hrs. on it. If I can get for $13k all I will need to add is a loader. Hope this helps. Von

Kim, I made shoes for my backblade from the ones that Central tractor sells for the plows on pickup trucks. Just had to make the brackets to hold them. They are ajustable and work well even on the grass if set high. good luck, Von

Mike, I just did the same thing for the trailer I just got to hual my Kubota. I got the brake control unit from Central Tractor for $45.00. There are 4 wires to it and it hooks up to the brake lite switch on the petal. the other wires are power, ground and to the trailer brakes. It took me about one hour to do a neat clean job to install in my Jeep GC. I have a 16ft. with two axles and it works great with the tractor w/loader on it. You can set the trailer brakes for empty or loaded and for hard or soft braking. It is not hard to hook up just follow the insructions and you should be fine. Von

Steve, I have a B8200 4WD hydro. With turf tires and loader. I use a 8 ft. back blade and never have a problem it the snow (I live in upstate NY) My driveway is 300ft. long down hill and I also clean a full size ice rink. I don't have chains or loaded tires and it works fine. I figure the weight to be around 2500lbs. so maybe the extra 400lbs. makes a differance. Just my thoughts. Von
