On my 2820 during cold weather starting by turning the key to the left till the little red light that is attached to the glow plug goes out. That preheats the fuel in the cylinder. Move the throtlle control to mid point, pull out the decompression knob and crank the engine till it starts. Once the engine fires, push the decompression knob back in, and allow the engine to run at half throttle till warmed up. Then get to work.

I checked out the creeper gear feature on my YM2820 last night.........
It goes so sloooooooooooooooooooow you think your moving backwards. Ha Ha Ha! But wait. IF that's true......
You could go out to plow snow and if you are on the tractor long enough you would find yourself "back" in July or purhaps August. NO MORE SNOW! pretty neat huh?

I have a 2820 and am looking to get a spare set of rims and a set of turf tires for mowing about 3 acres of ground. Anyone have recommendations as to where to get used rims, and what size tires would be best? Can you use automotive type tires as substitute for turf tires?
Also need to know your opinions on what size and manuf. finish mower would be acceptable for this size tractor.
It is a 2 wheel drive unit, and I am new to this compact tractor thing. Would a belly mower be better than a rear PTO unit. Also! does my tractor have a "live" PTO, and if not, how difficult and expensive to convert to "live" PTO?
You prompt replies will be greatly appreciated, as I am READY to buy.
