Dave, something I have done on quite a few occassions but not for a spark plug yet is to get a metric deep well socket that closely matches but is slightly smaller than the right size SAE spark plug socket. Get a hammer and tap it rather sharply and hopefully it will grip enough to be able to back it out with your ratchet. Worth a try! Good luck! STEVE

Thanks to all! I really appreciate all views and opinions. I'm gonna hold off for now on modifying my ROPS but if I ever decide to do otherwise I always accept full responsibilities for my actions and would never try to put the blame on someone else if something bad would ever happen. I will check to see if foldable or lower ROPS are available for my tractor. Now... just maybe... if I let the air out of my back tires... just maybe... :-) Thanks again everyone!

Greetings to all! Finally bought my first compact tractor and at a very affordable price to boot! It is a M.F. 210-4 which is the 4x4 model, 25 h.p. with a M.F. quick tach loader and extra bucket for $3700. Does anyone have any experience with this tractor or know anything about it, as I haven't read anything about one on this board. One thing that the manual specifies is that with a loader attached, the rear wheels should be set at the maximum width. The only problem I see is that at this setting, the tires are spaced wider than the front bucket. Does it really hurt anything to keep the tires the same width as the bucket other than stability? I only have about 1 acre of land and no hills so stability really isn't all that critical. Any opinions greatly appreciated! By the way...I'd like to commend one and all on a truly informative, entertaining, professionally run board!
