I have a mitsubishi D2000 tractor. I sent the head to a machine shop to have the head checked out. I was told it needs new valves but I need some engine specifications. The block has raised letters reading K2 50404; also there are numbers stamped on the block reading 2-DR5-13242,under them numbers are numbers reading 1302. I found a book on the tractor from stormer tractors but the engine in the book is not the same engine I have. The book that I have is saying the engine is a KE-130-13B. I called Stormer tractor back but the guy told me that should be the engine in the tractor. Any information I could get would be greatly appreciated especially on the valve specifications. I am fixing to purchase a new tractor. I am looking at the JD990, NH Boomer TC40, and Kubota L3710. Looking at the tractor in a comparison, it seems the TC40 with the 12X12 SS is more tractor for my money. Locally (North Georgia area) the TC40 is lower priced than the other two. I am getting the tractor, R4 tires and bushhog. I am not interested in Hydro tranny. Anyone have opinions on my future purchase and anyone have any experience with these tractors? I am wanting to stay under $16k. I am gonna be using that tractor for bushhogging only.
