Pressure at the remote valves is approximately 2000psi.
Three point hitches do not have downpressure, and are not adaptable to having downpressure by modifying the linkage as you suggest. No downpressure will be transferred to the draft links until the rockshaft is rotated all the way to the maximum raise position, and then internal damage to the rockshaft housing will probably result. Proper use of a top-n-tilt will not cause damage. The downpressure option for PHD's uses different geometry and is OK when used properly.
Moving the remote lever one way will extend a cylinder, moving it in the opposite way will retract it. I don't believe TC33 remote valves have a provision for a float position

I understand your frustration and anger, but lets review the facts. You asked for a New Holland tractor that met the specs of your 955 Deere. I believe the TC33/7308/757C does that as closely as any combination in the NH line. New Holland does not sell 955's painted blue.The 7308 is the ONLY FEL NH makes for installation on the Class II Boomers. There is simply no other choice. I won't argue whether a 758C hoe can be fitted to a Class II tractor with factory mounts, but I will state that any dealer that does it is not doing his reputation or customer any favors; the 758C is simply too big. There hasn't been a 757 (no suffix letter) in the NH line for many years. Therefore the 757C with subframe is the only SANE hoe option offered by NH for a TC33. Your tractor did not leave the factory with a backhoe mounted. Dealers install backhoes, period. Recently, the factory began installing loader mount kits and valves, but the dealer still hangs the loader on the mounts, and may have installed the mounts and valve too. The dealership where I work sells several dozens of TC's every year. Some with Bradco hoes, some with New Holland. Breaking engine blocks is not something we have seen or heard of, although I don't doubt it can happen. I am glad to hear this failure is covered under warranty, and you should be, too. It isn't too difficult to find compacts of any color you choose with this kind of failure, they all do at times. We have a Kubota bellhousing used as a planter. The owner high-centered a mid mount mower, and knocked the attachment mount pads off BOTH sides of the housing. We have it because we did the repair: Kubota did not warranty the failure, but I do not know the particulars.

You need to better assess your needs and budget. For your stated mowing needs, the 1210 if it is a hydro, will do the job. It probably does NOT have power steering. A manual transmission would mean no live PTO, not desirable with a MMM. If it is in decent condition, the price isn't bad. Don't plan on removing & installing the MMM easily or quickly. The TC 30 is a recently introduced economy model, not discontinued. The size and power of it and the TC29 do not compare to the 1210, and of course the price doesn't either.

A conversion is not likely to be feasable. Not only will the clutch assembly and probably the flywheel need to be swapped out, the transmission is different. In a transmission-driven (non-live) PTO, the PTO is usually driven off the rear of the transmission's input shaft. A live PTO has a dedicated shaft through the transmission (usually inside a tubular countershaft) driving the PTO. It is entirely possible the transmission housing is cast or machined differently.

These lights suffer from poor connections right at the lamp under the fender; also at the rear of the hitch cover inside the fenders. Also the grounding can go bad between the lamp unit and the fender.

Any time an engine is roasted, a cracked head is a possibility. However if it is not loosing coolant or pressurizing the cooling system with compression, it may be OK. If you are lucky, a re-ringing may be all that's required.

The neutral safety switch for the range trasmission is ever so slightly out of adjustment. It can be accessed from the rear of the tractor, inside the left rear wheel. If under warranty, as I suspect it is, have your dealer stop by and adjust the switch.

This is a common problem for a large group of NH compacts. The solution is to siphon off enough battery electrolyte to eliminate the overfull condition that is the cause of the problem. Simple, but no one knows why so many batteries were overfilled to begin with.

Don't bother with Super UDT unless you have a glideshift or have a hydro in a COLD climate. If you have neither, UDT is fine, for 1/2 to 2/3 the cost. There are other oils out there meeting the respective specifications of both UDT and Super UDT. Just be sure anything you use meets the spec you want.

There is none. About the best you can do is to remove the filler/breather and flip the deck over. Remove one of the level plugs on the side to prevent an airlock. Best to let it drain overnight. Good Luck, RickB.

Probably not a bad price for the package, but it's not for you. 2WD/turfs/loader is not a good combo, and at $8000 combined for the tractor w/new loader, your'e too close to paying for something better. You don't mention power steering, and I'd bet the 1700 doesn't have it. Another big reason to walk away. Not only a real bear to drive with a loader, but the manual steering box just won't handle the torque you will be sending down the steering shaft.

The 1720 is probably the most troublefree Ford/NH compact tractor to date. THe 7108 model loader probably indicates a tractor over 4 years old, as the 7308 was introduced about then. No bother, the 7108 is a better loader. White grille and engine side panels would verify a similar age, at least. They run 23 PTO HP, and will run a 5' squealer or similar R/C in most conditions. The dealership where I work has just this week sold the last 2 1720's in inventory with 7308 loaders in the $16K range. The Synchro Shuttle Shift (SSS on the side) has live PTO and a 12X12 transmission. Discount the 12X4 tranny, as it also has transmission driven PTO. Heavily discount 2wd. Price will run according to your location and its condition, but it may bring a premium if it's cherry.

Drawbar hp info is most commonly developed as part of a Nebraska Tractor test,which as far as I know, is not required of compacts to be offered for sale in Nebraska as it is for larger farm tractors. PTO hp is more easily measured, especially at the dealership level. Another reason for manufacturers not to advertise drawbar HP is it would point out the gross inefficiency of hydrostatic transmissions as compared to a gear drive. As an example, the IH 1066 was offered as a gear drive tractor developing a maximum 100.5 drawbar HP. The hydro version produced 84.88hp. The relative PTO HP were 116 and 113, respectively. All other factors are equal or very close between the two versions of this '70s farm tractor. Info from Nebraske tests # 1081 and 1083, 1971. I doubt your 4700 develops over 30 drawbar hp, but that is only a guess.

Remote hydraulics for your 2120 are available with either one or two valves. The kit for either a single or dual remote will come with good instructions, and installation is not especially complicated. Can't help with price.

The BushHog SQ600 will give you excellent service matched up with a TC33. As it is also the least expensive of those you are looking at, you sould purchase it with confidence. Also, common and necessary Bush Hog wear parts are typically less expensive than other brands.

Yes, you probably have the correct brake rod boot, there is one part # for almost all Fords with manual wet brakes. It is a semi-press fit into the planetary housing. I have a wrist pin out of my JD 730D (another story) on my workbench at the dealership I use as a driver. The rod fits through the hollow center of the wristpin, and the flange on the boot fits up against the end of the pin. Find something similar and just seat the boot in with a hammer. Be careful to fit the boot properly around the brake rod, don't get any crap stuck between the rod & boot. Good Luck, RickB.

There are 3 possibilities for premature clutch failure. One, the least likely, is a substandard clutch disc. Possible, but not likely. The second and third are where most causes lie; improper operation or improper clutch installation and setup. The dealership where I work has one customer with a 2110 compact that got a transmission clutch every 6 months for 3 years after the original clutch lasted 8 years. They changed operators and haven't ruined a clutch yet. Improper setup of the clutch assembly will yield similar results.

To Becky and others experiencing difficulty with the Neutral Safety Switch on the transmission range linkage: This is not an insurmuntable problem! Yes it is annoying and No, it shouldn't happen, but the switch just needs to be readjusted. A few very early Boomers needed the switch bracket changed due to a redesign. If your dealer is telling you 'there isn't much I can do', tell him to learn how to adjust that switch and get yours fixed! Bypassing the NSS or tripping it manually is not the answer, as we all know. If your dealer can't/won't help, let NH know, they will read the riot act to a dealer refusing to address this kind of safety hazard.
