My dealer asked me if I had this problem and I told him that it occured only when it seemed cold. What he did was adjust the the tightness on the return spring. The return spring is adjusted by a turnbuckle, all you have to do is loosen the nut and then turn the bolt in which tightens the return spring and then retighten the nut and this will cause for the peddles to return.

I was using a box blade and when all of a sudden my forward pedal would not return. I then had to press the reverse pedal to make the forwrd pedal return/stop. After getting it back to the house (what a ride trying to balance the pedals) I checked and noticed that I am leaking Hydro fluid from somewhere underneath the center of the tractor.
