Those numbers do look much better, thanks for clarifying. I still think additional 3 point hitch ballast will be needed for loader work on my 4110. The blade is better than nothing, but I'll be looking into a ballast box once the snow is gone. Only trouble is, its a useless piece on the 3PH. Guess I'll check out I-match while I'm at it!

Mark, now you need to buy a hoe to make your 4100 more attractive!
When I am ready to take the plunge, I will seriously consider the pros and cons of going with a subframe mount hoe for my 4110 vs. just upgrading to a larger, backhoe compatible tractor. With the type of terrain I have (The Granite State), I question how well a small backhoe would work.

Plots, good luck with your 790, I'm sure you will be happy with it. As long as you are not mowing your lawn, there is no reason NOT to fill the tires, especially if you have hilly terrain. The only reason I am considering wheel weights is that I may mow with my machine in the future, and would like to be able to remove the weight.

Mr. Not Happy, I know the people at MB Tractor, and have no doubt that they would have resolved your problems, ASAP. I almost bought a tractor there, but decided I wanted a different color at the last minute. If they did fix you up, by all means, throw them a bone! Word of mouth is the best advertising you can't buy.

I am also in the market for a rear blade. I found the Land Pride RB1572 at my JD dealer for just under $400 (discounted, since I bought my tractor there). Does anyone know how effectively my 20 hp JD 4110 with loaded tires will pull a 6' blade, or should I stick with a 5'? I would like the extra width to cover my 48" tread even when the blade is angled.

Mark, I've seen a Land Pride hoe for the 4100 (saw it on a 4110), its a frame mount, not 3ph. Looks pretty decent, and larger than the BX hoe. I think it was around $6K.
