My manual shows changing the trans/hydraulic fluid after an initial break in period of 50 hrs, then @ 400, 800, ect
w/ filter changes in btween. Also the $150.00 savings was on labor, not parts.

I recently paid $7500 for a 89 two wheel drive, hst JD 755 w/ 1600 hours. It was a great little tractor, tuff as nails and dependable. It had a belly mower which soon bit the dust though. I just traded for a Kubota L3010
4WD, 32 HP. Either is a great machine, right now Kubota is offering very good rates ( 3.99 ), I would go with the L3010 if you can swing 13500 or so, but the JD will serve you well also.

Seems I saw an ad on Carvers website that they carry compact tractor covers, sorta like the ones you use on cars.

OK, the dealer says this is "normal" transmission noise, common to these models. I have two years of warrenty left so I am not going to sweat it. Thanks for all the replys.

I have recently owned a nice JD 755 and have recently purchased a Kubota L3010. The Kubota is very impressive and right now you should be able to get 3.99 w/ no money down. Hope this helps. Tom Smith
