I had a 4100 and mowed with a 5' brush hog. I mowed small trees and multi-flower rose with it. I didn't have any problems.

JD 4100 and a 60 inch brushhog does it work

Ray,<br>I purchased my 650 in april, it came with the loader and a 272 grooming mower, and 4 suitcase weights, it had 840 hours and was in pretty good shape. It is 4WD and has power stearing, ag tires witch are loaded in the rear. I paid 7000.00 dollars. After purchasing it I went looking for a dozer blade, JD does not make it anymore so an after market one was 2240.00 dollars, I just bought one from a use equipment dealer who did not know what it was and paid 175.00 for it. These are very good tractors, If you buy it and want to sell the dozer blade I know of at least one other person looking for one, please let me know.

I am interested in purchasing rims and turf tires for my JD 650, also would be interested in a cab for plowing snow. Anyone with a lead on these items please E-mail me. I have priced them from my local dealer and if I cant find any used ones then I may have to convince my better half that we realy need them that much. Thanks for all your help.... Jamie

I feal for you, I bought my 650 about 3 months ago, prices I have gotton so far include: New front blade 2240.00 not by JD they dont make it anymore, tiller 1812.00 by bush hog, mine came with a back blade, 272 grooming mower, and loader. So I have not priced them out. Check the Machinery finder below, I did buy a JD front blade for 137.00. Just priced out Turff Tires and rims, so far about 1100.00 when I get a chance I will send you a photo of the bracket I made for the front of mine so I could use standard suitcase weights for the front, The rear tires on mine are loaded with calcium but while using the loader I found it best to keep something with weight on the 3 point. Just bought a new owners manual for 16.50. Good luck fellow 650 owner

Seems high I bought mine for 7000.00 with a loader and 272 grooming mower and 840 hours. check out the john deere machinery finder at http://www.machinefinder.com look for john deere model 650 you will find one for about 5750.00 but only has a mower. Check the horse power also I thought the 650 was 18 HP that what my dealer told me.
