I paid almost that much for my TC29D w/o SS !!!!! I'd say it's a great price!

John, that is a great price! I paid more than that for mine w/o SS. I'd jump on that deal with both feet. Just hope he didn't "misunderstand" you on the phone.

Hey BoomerBoy, Congratulations! I have the 29D with front-end loader & 60" rear mount finish mower, & I too am very pleased with the Boomers performance. Go to the Yahoo club search and search for "Ford Compact Tractors". As far as the hat� if you find one let me know. Good luck. Dusty

I bought a set of "Woods" forks for my Boomer. Dealer said they would bolt right on. They didn't. But it wasn't too hard to make them work. After getting them on, Thet were great. I'm real happy with them. Easy to use and a very handy "tool" for around the farm. Cost was around $550.00 I think. Did some trading. Pretty sure that's what he valued them at. Dusty

Sounds to me like what you need is a BOOMER TC25 or 29D. Red Green Blue are all great tractors. But.... The BOOMERS are really great. So easy to operate, controls are all within easy reach, loaded with features you don't even think about. Maintenance friendly (filters & grease fitting all easy to reach), user friendly. Just an all around great tractor. Good luck what ever you buy.
