Finally got off the fence and went to order a GC2310 yesterday.

None available. Expected delivery 6-8 months!

What is MF thinking? I can't wait that long and now must look at other options.

Bummed.

I'd check another dealer to see if the availabilty is really that far out. A local dealer in Michigan said he didn't have one in stock but said that they are readily available. Guess that it is a very popular size coming standard with the BH. All the manufacturers make similar models. What prompted you to go with MF? Am curious which features, price or dealership made the difference. ....

Thanks. There is another dealer only somewhat farther away.

In the subcompact class (I only have an acre, but I'm a very intensive gardener) the MF is slightly heavier, beefier, and more powerful than the Kubota (BX23). Also, I have two neighbors who own MFs and they are very happy, plus the dealer I have contacted has a very good rep hereabouts.

Neither the Deere (2210) nor the New Holland (TZ24) come with nor will accept a backhoe, which I have convinced myself is a must have capability.

I'm starting the think in terms of a 1428v or 1431. Bigger, more power and considerably more $$$. But maybe more available!

Sounds like you have done your homework. A number of guys on this board have BX23's with backhoes. My preference has always been to have a little bit larger tractor especially with a BH. In your case going larger may not be better if you need to drive close to or under your trees. Is the BH on the sub-compact going to meet your needs. It's not my call but is it limited in reach and capacity? ....

Sounds like an outstanding price. My 2310 was $16,900, plus you have the MMM and the blade. I presume yours is in great condition. May I ask why you are selling it?

If I didn't already have one I would make you an offer!

Happy tractoring.
