Mike, Check "The Small Tractor FAQ - Home Page" WWW.andrew.cmu.edu/user . I remeber seeing something about tractor safety that in turn led to a link about ROPS put out by a government safety group. ....

The information on the small tractor faq page is out of date...at least for the ford tractors the newholland part numbers are no longer available. Safe-T-Cab makes rops for almost everything. They are very expensive. Some manufacturers have a special agreement with Safe-T-Cab to help defray costs. Go to the Safe-T-Cab site and send them email with your requirements.http://www.saftcab.comThis whole topic annoys me to no end since it is such a necessary piece of safety equipment. I still think they should be provided by any dealer selling used tractors. There's got to be what...$35 of materials in a ROPS? I suppose the reason that the cost close to $1000 (if not covered on one of the plans) is due to insurance concerns...gimme a break!Kim ....
