While out tractor shopping, I see most dealers sell implements under their own brand.... Ford-New Holland/Case-IH-Farmall, Massey-Ferguson, John Deere, Kubota, etc.

I am guessing the tractor companies/dealers outsource their implements....do any of them make their own ???

Anyway, does anyone have any info on who makes implements and then puts the tractor company's name on them ??
(Example: "Befco makes Such-and such for John Deere..." etc. etc.)

Any comments on the quality of implements is appreciated (around here in southern Indiana all I can seem to find is Land Pride and King Cutter). I am looking for about a 30-35hp CUT and a rotary cutter, finish mower, rear blade, front blade, FEL, cultivator, and grader box.

I'm not sure who fabricates implements for the OEM's, but as far as quality of implements, the two you metioned in your post are about 180 degrees from each other. LandPride is an excellent quality product and realtively high priced. KingKutter is an economy implement, built to do what it is supposed to, at a much lower cost. I own several KingKutter implements, and although the fit and finish isn't very polished, they all work fine. ....

I can help in your search for a front and rear blade, Code3.

I am the production manager for Borgford Design and Manufacturing. We manufacture the BoDozer blade, along with many other BoDozer implements. ("Kwschumm", a TractorPoint member, has one of our grapples.) We don't currently work with any dealers in Indiana, but we can ship our products direct. I think you'll find our equipment superior to anything else out there.

Check out our website, if you like, or feel free to just give us a call. Ask for Dale Borgford and tell him I told you to call. (800-669-7882)

bmocad:
I picked up replacement moldboards, rock slides, etc. at an Agri Supply store in NC back in February. They had hundreds of parts/pieces in stock and I saw names such as JD, IH, MH, Oliver and Ford: but DearBorn??? They handle phone orders at 800-345-0169 so it can't hurt to call. ....
