60 quot MMM Adjustment B6200

I have a B6200 with 60" mmm. I would like to raise the height of the mower deck so it rides higher in the full "up" position. It seems the only way to do this is the linkage arm between rear end of tractor and deck. This linkage arm is currently adjusted to length recommended in the manual, so I hesitate to shorten it. Am I missing something?
