Originally I was leaning towards jd 2210, but now shifted to the 7610 for loader and 3ph capacities, although 60% of tractors used will be for lawn mowing. I am looking at 7610with 353 fel and 60"mmm . Is the mowere suspended ? how does it mow? Comment on loader capabilities? How is this machine as a mower unit? Is the loader heavy duty, some friends say that its too light duty and that I am likley to bend it up trying to do stuff like pull up old fence posts and move small rocks...

how does it mow?

answer: by rapidly rotating sharpened metal pieces (blades) in close proximity to grass.

....sorry

I think I'm in the small percentile on this site that does not mow with tractor. So, even though my sarcastic side has just been exposed, I would think that to save yourself a few grand on initial cost you can create a scenario for pulling or digging out or whatever.

This is my second tractor and the true beauty of it is that I am not renting it and can take all the time I need to be creative and solve the problems at hand. Most 20+ hp CUT's will have the guts to do most anything we want (within reason of course) if we can get the power to the ground. I liken it to my pickup: 300 turbo charged HP but with no weight in back to get the wheels onto the ground she spins like a mutha'.

Most guys/gals here are in a particular category. Inventive, creative, resourceful. It reminds me of the monkey (sorry) at the beginning of 2001 A Space Odyssey. One day nothing, can't even figure out how to pee. Next day figuring out how to down a Mastadon for clothing, food, and bones for tools. Next day a Kubota CUT and a 60" plasma TV.

Evolution is a great thing.
Just sometimes takes a while.

good luck - have fun

-ao ....

The loaders are on the light side, but with proper care and proper placement of lifting hooks, you would find that it can do most anything you need to do. Whether you buy green, orange, or blue, the same common sense is necessary to get a happy long life from a tractor. I move some large logs and stones around the property with my 7800, the bucket is light duty for sure. With proper rigging, you will limit the lift capacity of the loader without bending the bucket. These are nice machines. ....
