I am new to TractorPoint.com. I am going to buy a new tractor soon. I have got my sites set on a Kubota L-4300DT with a LA682 loader. I will be using it to feed large round bails and to work ground up for a roping arena. About 2 times a year I use a 14ft. disc to break up the hard pan as the ground is mostly clay. The rest of the time I use a 7ft. Unique type landscape rake. Is this going to be enough tractor? I use a 1972 Ford 4400 that seems to do the job, but I can't do anything if it is a little wet. Also is it worth while to look at the 45hp Kioti tractors? How do they compair? Thanks

I think Kioti is definately worth a look. I have a DK 35 and like it alot, a very nice tractor.
But I have also used a few Kubota L-series tractors and I liked them also.
Test drive both/ compare tractor, dealer, features and price, and go from there.

I think with the money you are going to spend (I would make the same recomendation for a sub-CUT), you need to look at all the tractor brands. John Deere, Kubota, New Holland, Massy Furgusion, Kioti, Mahindra, Case-IH. Knowing all your options before you make a dission can't be bad. Shop the dealer as much as the tractor. Find the dealer you like and buy what he sells. ....

Thanks for your input. I have done some shopping. J.D. is $5000.00 more expensive!!I have quotes from 2 of them. The dealer I am talking to is also a New Holland dealer and he thinks I can get more bang for my buck with Kubota. I don't have any other dealers in my area to work with except CAT. Still shopping on the net though. ....
