i am curious if any one can recommend a good hard cab for a new jd4300. what im looking for is one that is fairly easy to remove after winter, since cabs suck in the summer.the jd is used with a brush for snow removal so the cab is almost neccesary to have. we are trying to go through this winter with out one. any replies greatly appreciated.

I recently installed a Sims cab on my Kubota. I've read message board comments reporting Curtis cabs to be more substantial. However, the Sims appeared to be easier to get into with its rear hinged door, and easier to remove and store. I did not install a heater at first because of the expense. After several weeks of blowing snow, and trying every type of 12v heaters I installed the Sims heater and highly recomend it. The factory phone # is 508-886-6115. They can fax info and refer you to a dealer. Stay Warm! Craig ....

I have a Deutz Allis 5251 4wd hydro with badly rusted rear fenders. This tractor was manufactured by Toyosha in Japan in the late 80's. New fenders are no longer available from a Deutz-Allis dealer. Massey Ferguson imported the Toyosha tractors also but in alternating horsepowers. Deutz had 18, 26 and 31 hp. and Massey had 16, 22 and 28. Does anybody know if the 16 or 22 hp. Massey has the same fenders as the 18 hp. Deutz? ....

Jim,

Call some of the Grey Market salvage dealers and tell them you need fenders for a C174 Hinomoto. Hinomoto was made by Toyosha. The C172 and 174 is the same as the Allis 5015 and DA 5215. I hope this helps.
