I just purchase a very nice looking 2420 for $4300 . Was this a decent price? How is parts availability for this model? How has reliability been? Any help would be appreciated.

That sounds like a good price for that tractor. How many hours? Is the paint good? Did you buy from an individual?

The tractor has 849 hours. Paint is good and not repainted. There is a little suface rust underneath the wheel well, but nothing major. Engine is very clean and the tractor runs well and the power shift works faultless. Seems like a very straight tractor. I purchased it from Tullahoma Tractor in Tn. They appeared to be a legitimate business and they said that they were a Yanmar parts dealer. However I was a little concerned that I hadn't run across that model before but the size fit my needs and I got it and a new 5ft cutter, 5ft box scraper, boom pole,and front wieght for $5100. Seemed reasonable. ....
