Hi, Folks. I was just steered over to this site by my friends on the Antique Tractor List (www.atis.net). This looks like a fantastic resource! I am seriously considering a Ford (not labelled New Holland) 1520 which is currently on duty at a nursery. It is 4WD, Hydrostatic, equipped with 7108 loader. 400 hours, condition very good (some slight cosmetic issues here and there). Only real problem is completely bald front tires from maneuvering on pavement at the nursery. I have looked it over carefully and everything else is in order. My Antique Tractor friends came up with a price from the Hot Line Farm Equipment Guide (kind of like NADA book for used tractor prices) of $7000 average, $6100 low, and $7600 high. I am thinking, due to low hours and good overall condition, of basing my offer near the high end, at about $7500, plus about $2000 for the loader for a total of $9500. Any comments would be very welcome! Thanks and best regards,Steve O.
