Has anyone used " best used tractor " for a purchase?. Am considering pursuing a 3110D through one of their dealers.Reading the posts on reconditioned imports leaves me with mixed feelings. The bad thing is the closest dealer is in New York and I'm in MD. I would consider it if this is a good reputation tractor and dealer. The compact market in my area is hot and used prices would give you a stroke.Sorry for the long post just don't need another headache. Thanks.

I am a dealer and friend of Rick, the owner of Best Used. He is not now involved with the "reconditioned" tractors and absolutely does not deal with the vietnamese stuff. He and his associates buy nice clean low hour tractors from Japan. Each dealer then chooses how much service or reconditioning to do. At our business, we change all fluids and filters, most hoses and belts, and install a new battery and normally a seat. Then we go over the entire tractor looking for any problems, then install a loader. Finally we wax the body and paint the wheels and it is ready. Some do more or less, and you have to ask the dealer about that.

I'm not trying to sell you a tractor, I am in California so it would not be practical anyway.

I've sold a bunch of YM3110D's and they are a great tractor.

We have sold quite a few tractors in PA and MD. We will be happy to email customer references if you care to contact us. "We" are Little Miami Trading Company. We would be happy for you to visit us, or we can arrange delivery to you without you ever leaving home, as you prefer. Many of our customers have bought their tractors that way. ....

Where is the dealer in NY? I am in Upstate and have very few Yanmar/grey dealers to choose from. I have been watching inventories as far away as LMTC, but I really dont want to go that far.
