I'm looking for a driveshaft for a Kubota RC60-21B MMM (actually I only need the half that connects to the tractor mid-PTO, the other half is attached to the MMM gearbox).

I can order the parts new from my local Kubota dealer but they are quite expensive. Can anyone suggest a salvage yard or does anyone know if an aftermarket driveshaft might work?

To do it real cheap you would have to redo the total shaft. Then will you have clearence as you will find larger joints and not a splined shaft but a square or a rectangle and possibly a few other problems. ....

I have been considering putting a rc60-21b on my b2150 with loader, but several people have discourged me from doing it due to ground clearance problems. From your experience could you please comment? I have also been told that a RC60-92h and a RC60b will fit the b2150 any idea if this is correct and what the differences are? ....

You did not specify as to which make loader you have, but I will assume it is a Kubota. The RC60-92H is an older model from the B2150 that was designed for the B-8200-9200 tractors. The RC-60B fits the smaller chassis versions the B-1550 and 1750. The RC-60-21b was made for your tractor as well as the RC72-B Depending on tires. Yes, no matter what mower you put under a tractor it reduces the ground clearence. ....

Art, thanks for the quick reply. Yes the loader is a la350a.
So, are you saying that the RC60-92h would fit a later model b2150 (sn61xxx)? The rc60b I'm looking at includes no tractor brackets. Could I buy a rc60-21b bracket kit and use the rc60b deck? ....

i AGREE WITH ART. A MMM on a tractor with a front loader screws things up with the low clearance on the mower. I would suggest a 3 pt finish finish mower on the back. THat MM mower is ALWAYS scratching the ground at the worst possible moments. ....

WJS, I've never tried to switch the brackets that you are in need of. Basically I'd say it might not work. There is an extra mounting kit that needs to be ordered with the 92 series for that tractor so I would say they might not fit at all. ....
