I am a deere dealer,, so my answer is probably not what you are looking for.

Total bill $334.00
pick-up (50.00)
parts (89.00)

That leaves you $195.00 in labor charges. our rate is $50/hr which translates to 3.9 hours.

I have no idea what a 50 hour check on that brand and model is needed.

On a simalier green model, I pulled a work order on one which was recently in our shop.

total bill was 2 hrs labor ($100.00), parts 59.97, transportation was the minimum ($50.00).

I believe you may have a legitimate gripe. and as far as your dealers slow service, you definately have a legitimate gripe.

in all makes there are good dealers, and there are bad dealers, what can I say? I have a competitor directly accross the road from my store, he is constantly underpriceing me by $500 to $1000. However, his service dept. quickly makes up the difference.

Too bad I can't help the lost souls who purchased strictly on price. I hope you got a good deal initially. ....
