Last summer when my TC 33D was new I had a problem with the fuel cap vent being clogged or perhaps the plastic flashing was not cleared during manufacturing. Whatever the reason it caused the engine to pull a vacuum making the fuel gauge read high. Copnsequently it ran out of fuel when the guage read 1/4 of a tank.
My dealer sent me a new cap which still didn't work right and now that the hot weather has returned it's acting up again. It just ran out of fuel again this time showing almost half a tank. When I took off the cap which was on quite tight I heard a large woosh as the vacuum in the tank equalized with the outside air pressure.
Normally I open the cap several times a day when in use to vent the tank. I had been doing this but the guage didn't seem to move much.
I always hear a vacuum sound when opening the tank. Sometimes alot sometimes a little.
It isn't critical i know but it is annoying to have to bleed the lines and guess how much fuel is left in the tank.

Has anyone else had this problem?
