Scott, I have about a month or so before I'm going to buy a new MF 1233. Would you keep me updated on how you like yours. I went back through the message boards and read a real negative post on the 1233, rough riding and shifting.
Also they said no power for the bucket. I'm considering getting the front end plow for the bucket. I'm taking your advice and getting a bigger bush hog. My e-mail is
arr56@aol.com. The base tractor price is $9600 which is far better than a equal J.D. or anything else.
Thanks..........Roy

I have about 10 hours on mine now.

I do feel that it rides rougher than other tractors. A friend of mine has a Ford 1710 with turf tires, and his rides smoother. My guess is that 2 things are to blame: 1.industrial tires. these tires are harder. 2.wrong air pressure. from the factory, they had ALOT of air pressure in the tires. I am still messing around with waht is the right pressure. I dropped about 15 pounds in each tire, and the ride is much better.

I do not have a front end loader on mine, just the 1233 4WD with industrial tires.

I have been happy with it, the power it has, and it is very quiet compared to my friend's Ford.

I have mowed twice with it now (6' woods finish mower), and it has NO problem with that mower at all. Mows great.

No turf scrubbing, etc.

No problems so far, I am happy with the tractor. ....
