Is $14,500 a good price for a 4400 with syncreverser trans, R4 tires and hydraulics for loader. Next best price I found is 15,300 with same options. I would appreciate any and all comments.Thanks,James

I haven't priced the 4400 but do have a bid in on a 4300. It is as follows:4WD, hydrostatic, R4 tires, folding ROPS,430 loader w/73" bucket, bucket level indicator, customer set up. All for $17,908. I took several bids and this seemed to be the best I could find with a dealership I trust. Dave ....

James; Where are you getting these prices from. They're great. I was quoted $17,700 for a JD 4400 4WD, Hydro, mid pto, R-4's and DSCV. The 430 loader with HD 61" bucket was $2900. something more.David ....

THE DEALER I ORDERED MY 4400 W/HYDRO FROM TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE BEING TOLD TO EXPECT 12-15 WEEKS ON 4200-4400'S. I ORDERED MINE ON 4-15-99. ONE DEALER I TALKED TO SAID THEY WERE TOLD THAT THE DEMAND FOR THESE TRACTORS FAR EXCEEDED WHAT DEERE HAD EXPECTED AND THAT PRODUCTION WAS HAVING A HARD TIME KEEPING UP. ....
