Got my 40D just the other day. so far its great. Only power problem I have had is going up a steep hill in HIgh range with the loader on. in low range its great. Was a little miffed at the dealer though, charged me an extra $165 for the HD bucket, claimed shipping cost went up that much. but other than that real happy so far. got $8000 for my Cub Cadet 7232 with 72" belly mower on trade. I tried for 6 mos to sell it at $6500 outright with no luck so I think I did alright. Paid 16402 for the tractor 3450 for the loader and an extra $165 for the HD bucket. also paid $300 for rear Aux Hydraulics. grand total before misc fees and taxes was 20317. charged me $100 for loan processing fees etc. what does everyone think? Did I get ripped off?

Mark sounds pretty good. My 35D the 4400 and 3710 HST tractors I tested all lacked allot of force in High range but there only for towing and transporting as far as my experience has been. Hope your having as much fun as I am who ever thought mowing could actually be enjoyable lol. Eric ....
