has anyone oout there in Tractorland ever heard of a Tractor called an "Agricat"? I have just seen one advertised in Heavy Equip Trader for AL, GA, and TN. "New Agricat 25 HP 3 Cyl Diesel, 4WD,2 stage Clutch, live PTO, live lift, PS, 2 yr warr, $8759. W/new loader $11550. Does anyone know anything about these? Any input would be appreciated.

Agracat is a spin off of a China Diesel tractor. Beware! In my opinion it's worth the extra money to stay name brand. Do some research and determine whats best for you. I paid dearly for going down this road at first, then wised up. Good luck. ....

That's about 3K less than you would pay for an equivalent brand name (non- Chinese) tractor such as a JD790 or Kubota L2600DT. IMHO, 5 years from now, you will probably wished you had paid the extra money..... ....
