Phil, it depends on the type of soil you have, whether it's been cultivated before, moisture content, etc. But the short answer is that you would not be able to pull a 2 bottom plow in my pasture with a TC35. ....

I have a TC33D and I plowed about 1.5 acres with a older Ford 2 btm plow. The soil had some moisture and the field has been plowed before. The TC33D did have trouble sometimes, but if your patient and willing to take the time it can get the job done. Not sure if it is hurting my tractor. If I were going to plow over five acres in rough soil, I would opt for a larger machine TC45. etc.

Eric ....
