Been shopping for a little while (mainly for Kubotas, decided a 3010 is just about perfect for our needs) and just found a JD 770. Can anyone tell me how the classification of a 770 compares to the Kubota lines? Is the 770 about the same as the Kubota L 3010 series, or more like an L 2500 or even the B Series?Just don't know a whole lot about the sizing/classifications of the JD, could use a quick lesson! Thanks!

not a fair comparison. The JD 770 is a non-current model, and is an economy tractor more comparable to the L2500DT. Its replacement, the JD 790MFWD will outperform its KUBOTA counter part L2500, for about the same price. If you want to compare the L3010 to a Deere, look carefully at the 4300, especially at the versatility and ease of attachments, direct fuel injection engines, and independent live mid & rear PTO's. ....
