I just bought a 1982 JD950 2wd with rebuilt diesel and 72 inch belly mower for 5900$. Bank said it was appraised at 8000$. I would imagine the 4wd and low hours would put yours up from 8-10 grand. I am no expert in tractors or prices. This is just my own experience. The JD950 is an excellent tractor. Its a small tractor and a big tractor all wrapped up into one!

David, I just recently purchased a 1988 JD 950 with 2010 hours on it. It came with a JD 75 Loader, Ameriquip backhoe, turf tires and a dealer installed new clutch. I paid $11,500. It needed a new operators seat and front tires which I took care of. Everybody I have talked to say I got a great deal. I hve owned it about a month and have put about 12 hours on it, So far I am very happy. Depending on what you want a tractor for, the 950 would be a great choice. How much do you think a 950 with an allied loader with 1250 hrs on it is worth. It looks good on the outside, its 4 wd andhas 38 hp. may need new front tires. ....
