Congratulations Eric. I own a TC35D too. I only have 9 hours on it but I am very impressed so far. The only problem I have noticed is that the engine never came up to operating temperature. If you have the same problem (not all of them did) there was a post on the subject a few weeks back. I contacted my dealer and they have a part on order that is supposed to fix the problem. In the mean time I have installed a temporary fix as suggested in the post on cold running TC's. Good luck with the new machine. ....

What was the price of the Tractor alone? I am looking at buying either a TC35, a TC35D, a TC40, or a TC40D. I don't really want hydostat, but I like all of the other D features. I also don't really need the extra HP of the 40, but I'm gussing a 4cyl will be a little more reliable than a 3cyl. (I currently own a 3 cyl 23HP tractor).

Does anyone know the price difference between these? I was quoted a price of 13,800 for a TC35 with deluxe 3pt, R4's, and a folding ROPS.

Also, is there a rear hydraulic setup for these tractors that would powere my Log splitter? ....

Larry my dealer says all the new ones allready have that fixed but they check them coming in. Mark 14,300 for the tractor 275 for the R4's 900 to go to the
40D but I drove both under load there's not much difference gotta love that deluxe 3pt though over all its one mean looking tractor that handles like a dream. I had considered the Kub 3410 but wasn't happy with the price, comfort and
loader control in the way. I also didn't care for the rocker switch type hydro on the Kub or NH TC-33D. Hope that helps a little ;-)

Mark, I traded a TC29 and ultimately paid $14,300(Western PA) for a TC35 with R4's, folding ROPS and deluxe hitch in January 2001. I talked the dealer into a cup holder and the better floor mat for what that's worth. I did not have a need for the hydro, and am very pleased that I chose the manual transmission. The TC29 I had previously operated flawlessly, and so far the TC35 is great. Good luck with your decision. ....

I've got about 120 hours on my TC35D purchased last fall. Price was probably a premium at $ 26,285 (???), for TC35D 4WD, Hydrostatic trans., R4's loaded, 16LA loader, L.P./RCR 2572 cutter, Curtis plow w/ full hydraulic controls and L.P./LR1584 rake.
Other than some minor hydraulic fluid leakage, experience has been excellent thus far, with excellent service from Keats NH dealer in Keene, NH.
Hydro transmission has had recall for popping out of low gear under load while driving downhill. ....
