B6100 HST is slow to respond in forward or reverse. The hyd fluid and filter have been changed and the sump inlet and outlet screens are clean. I think the hydraulic pump is ok since raising the the 3 point raises the mower deck instantly. I wouls appreciate any help.Pat

I don't know a lot about HST's. However, I believe a HST runs off a different pump than the tractor hydraulics. Most HST's have filter screens that have to be cleaned periodically. It sure would be nice if simply cleaning a screen is the answer. ....

I am pretty sure you are right about the pumps tomg. The pump for the power steering and the lift arms is located on the engine itself, while the pump for the hydrostatic trans. is in the tranny. Proof is in the fact that you can press the clutch in, and still have your power steering and 3pt hitch, but try and move the tractor and your gonna say right where you are. I also think that the FEL runs off the same pump as the steering and 3pt. I would double check for a screen somewhere on the transmission... I don't know alot about your model of tractor, but my guess is that there is one there somewhere. ....
