Has anyone had any experiences they would like to share about the Land Pride rear discharge mowers ? What is the difference between the 15 and 25 series to begin with. I have a quote for a 72" rear discharge, last years mower still new at the dealer for $1300.00. Is that good , bad or indifferent ? I don't know the series . I just found out there are three different series of the rear discharge type. I plan on mating it with a Boomer TC33D with HST.

I don't know anything the model numbers or series of the Landpride, but $1,300 for 72" finish mower sounds like a bargain to me. I paid $1,695 for my 60" Bush Hog brand, and sure do like it, but I've heard nothing but good about the Landpride also. ....

Richard, I paid $1,650. for my model 1572 rear discharge Land Pride about a year ago. I've been very happy with it. You are getting a good price. I'm using mine on a TC29D & mowing 5 acres. I found out last fall that a mulching kit or mulching blades are available for it & I plan to get them. If I remember right, the main difference between the series numbers was horsepower requirements. My TC29 has no problem with the 1572, even in the tall wet stuff. ....

The higher the series # the heaver the equipment. A 1572 rear discharge weighs 594LBS while the 2572 weighs 670LBS. light duty and heavy duty frames. I priced a 2572 rear discharge last spring for $1850, so I thought I'd keep my 2572 airtunnel for awhile. I like it and it does a nice job. I think you found a bargin price even it it is a 1572 model. Landpride does have a web site and they will send out a product book and answer question's you may have. They are good folks. I guess that's why I own several items from them.http://www.landpride.com ....
