Notice to others who may own a front blade on their JD4100. The blade does not come fully featured with grease fittings at main support shaft and pivot shaft. Do yourself a great service- install a grease fittting in these two places. These shafts will last a lifetime if greased once a season!

I have to assume you have the quick-tatch system. I have a 4100 with FEL and midmount mower. Would the FEL interfere with the mounting system (obviously I know you couldnt have the blade on) and does it interfere at all with mower.
Thanks for any info

Bob, I do not have a front end loader for my 4100, but if I did I would remove my quick-tach fixture since it is easy to do. This would prevent any possible damage to the cylinders and/or hoses in the event of spillage from the FEL. ....

Do the hydraulic hoses for the blade connect in the same location as the
FEL (right side tractor) and do you use the joy stick to control the blade
Thanks
Bob ....
