I am thing about designing and having my local welder make some type of tool box that I could attatch on the frame on the front of my tractor and put some ballast in it and carry a chainsaw and a log chain etc for when I am out working.Does anyone make something like this you are aware of?Any ideas or suggestions? Also where is a good place to buy lights, radios, aftermarket add ons etc, enclosures for the canopy for a wind break?

Hillbilly--I notice that a number of farmers near me use "carryalls" on their 3-pts to carry chainsaws, etc. While it is possible to make your own carryall for your own needs, Tractor Supply (TSC) (www.tractorsupply.com) sells some lightweight carryalls that might satisfy your needs and they also carry tractor radios, lights, etc. It would be possible to modify a carryall and cut it shorter to accomodate just a compact pickup toolbox, for example. Before my 4400 and its FEL, I found the ideal carryall for chainsaw, tools, etc. to be my 3-pt. rear scoop--worked wonderful. Mike S. ....
