Yes, it's possible that the starting issue and rough idling could be related in your Kubota M5700 tractor. Several factors could contribute to these symptoms:
Fuel system issues: Problems with the fuel system, such as a clogged fuel filter, air in the fuel lines, or a malfunctioning fuel injector, can cause difficulties in starting and result in rough idling.
Ignition system problems: Faulty spark plugs, ignition coils, or other components of the ignition system could lead to starting difficulties and rough idling.
Engine mechanical issues: Issues such as low compression, worn piston rings, or valve problems can affect the engine's ability to start and idle smoothly.
Air intake problems: Air leaks in the intake system, a dirty air filter, or a malfunctioning throttle body could disrupt the air-fuel mixture and cause starting issues and rough idling.
Electrical system issues: Problems with the battery, alternator, or other electrical components can impact the starting process and engine performance.
To diagnose the problem accurately, it's advisable to conduct a systematic inspection of the tractor's fuel, ignition, air intake, and electrical systems. Checking for error codes using diagnostic tools, if available, can also provide valuable information. ....
