MF 1742 PTO Shaft Bearing Replacement

I had just baled an entire hat field with an inline baler. Was finishing the last few feet,literaly, and the PTO control jumped out of gear. When I put it back in gear and started the baler I got a loud kind of whiny grinding sound traced to the PTO shaft itself.

Any information and guidance on getting into this would be appreciated. Right now I am sitting on one field out of five completed.
