JD 4210 wont come out of 4WD

JD 4210 stuck in four wheel drive and its starting to wear the front tires switch seems to work ok light comes on and off as it should , I have lifted the front wheels off the ground so no driveshaft bind. Any ideas?

On the JD 4210 if the MFWD looses power the solenoid stays engaged. Please check all fuses. Next take a look under right floor board for any wires that might have been snagged from the connectors. Best of luck! ....
