Replace fan belts on Belarus 400AN

Can someone please let me know what the process is for putting a new set of fan belts on? I moved the alternator as I would for a general adjustment, but still not able to get belt on. I confirmed with several Belarus related parts companies to confirm I ordered the correct set of belts, which I did. Service manual only explains how to adjust the belts, not how to replace them.

You might have to remove one or both bolts holding the alternator to get the belt on. Compare the old with the new. It may still be the wrong belt for your tractor. Just because the book calls for a certain one does not mean it will fit. Things could have been change by the previous owner or changes when made. If it is too tight do not use it. Go to NAPA or auto parts and get a longer belt that fits. I have a TYM that I had a problem matching belts, had to go to a longer belt. Good luck. ....
