Well I'm still trying to compare the 790 and 4100........For those that have either of the above machines or have driven same.....can anyone tell me .......how much less manoueverability the 790 has as compared to the 4100 ??????I was checking the specs......and from what I can see...the 790 is about 5 inches wider and 9 inches longer than the 4100.......and I think wheelbase was maybe 3 inches longer on 790 as well......I can appreciate that I won't be able to turn as sharp or as close..as say with the 4100.....but I guess I need to know how much less, and is it an issue to really be all that concerned about. Most of my real close trimming still has to be done with a weed eater anyway.....mind you ,..turning around in the garden could be real challenge as well....I think those wheel brakes will be getting a good work out....thxglen

Glen, I didnt try a 4100, but I sure am impressed by how sharp my 790 4WD turns. One thing to think of is if you need to turn sharp in 4WD, mine is not nearly as sharp as in 2WD, but you can use the brakes. If you try eaither out, put it in 4WD and turn the wheel. I mow in 2WD, not a problem making the sharp turns in front of the house. ....
