Has anyone delt with the Keys dealership in Reynoldsville PA? I live in NJ and am looking for a L3000 tractor. They seem like a good outfit. Comments? Thanks.

If you are talking about Keys in Hazen Pa, I can possibly help. I live about 40 miles from them, and have bought 3 point equipment from them. They are a big Kubota/Cub Cadet dealer in this area. I have found their tractor prices hard to beat (Kubota that I have checked on). One thing that I do notice is that the sales people are kind of in a short with you most of the time. I think that it is probably because they do a very large volume of business at a low profit, so they have to make their sales short and sweet. Since I haven't bought any tractors or machinery from them, I can't say anything about "service after the sale". If you have any other specific questions, feel free to email me at "prosperity111@hotmail.com"

The Keys dealer I spoke with was in Reynoldsville PA. I got his address/phone from the Kubota web site. There was also a Keys dealer in Clarion PA. I suppose that they are both part of the same company. You were right about their sales people not being customer friendly. When I asked the salesman to fax me a quote, he all but flat out refused. He was worried that I was a 'spy' from one of the other Kubota dealers. I am uncomfortable with dealing with anyone who will not put their offers in writing, espescially since this is a site unseen deal. At this point, even though he is the lowest dealer, I am probably not going to do business with him. ....

I would have to agree. Price isn't everything when buying something mechanical. What would happen if you had a problem under warrantee? I would imagine you would probably get the same cold response. If they aren't nice when taking your money, what happens after the sale? Just use their price to negotiate a deal. Even if you pay 10% more at a local dealer, at least you will have that so important "service after the sale". Also, he will remember you when it's trade in time. ....

I've dealt with Key's on a few snowmobiles and got good prices but never had any service work done their. Last fall I was going to purchase a Cub Cadet tractor, loader and mower. They advertise they will deliver anywhere and I'm about 80 miles away and they would not deliver and wanted me to install the loader or pay them $100.00 to install it. I went to another dealer. ....
