Does any know about these tractors? I found several sites that sell and one even offers a 2 year warranty on the. Northern Tool sell one also. It is very tempting to buy when you can get a 4 wd drive power steering, frontend loader and backhoe at 25 hp for under 11,000.Northern is offering a 25 hp with canopy, frontend loader and posthole digger with 9" auger for 10,500. I real close on buying one does any have any input on these tractors.

Never quite sure what to say about this one. Yes the dollars sound pretty good, but I would ask myself as I usually do when I find something that is so much less than the prevailing market, why? I believe you will find the answer is that this is just not the tractor that the Japanese tractors are. I would investigate further and talk to those who own one to get their impressions. On the face of it, I would be leary. I have seen one Chinese tractor and it did not do very well for a tractor with so few hours. Anyway, $10,000.00 is still alot of money and believe you would rather spend $15,000.00 on something you could depend than waste $10,000.00 on a pig in the poke. Continue with your research and let us know how it turns out. ....

Harold, they may be fine tractors; I don't know. But if I were you, I'd sure want to know where I was going to have to take it to get warranty service, if required, and then where do I get parts after the warranty expires. And how long will it take to get parts and get it repaired. I'd also ask about a shop manual for it, and be sure to get a look at the manual before buying. ....

I think that much money also put you in the ballpark for a good used tractor with the same extras. Having a local dealer is a big plus for me. ....

Thanks everyone for the input on the Jinma tractor if anyone is interested I have listed 2 of the site that carry the tractor there are more. The one with the 2 year warranty and has parts for any china tractors is www.chinadepot.com and another one is www.boltonpowerequip.com. The best deal was from hardy diesel
but I do not know how long there warranty is. As for warranty what you do is take to a local repair shop and they pay for repairs after they have been approved by the company where you brought it. Some of the above companines sell up to a 40 hp tractor. I keep everyone posted to my progress on this tractor. ....

I went to look at the Nortrac at Northern and did not like what I saw. All the castings were rough looking and also the rims. The one I looked at did not have the auto bleed system for the injectors. Even the dealer said they have had some problems with them poping out of gear. Iwent with the JD4200 sst with fel and am happy with it. ....

I decieded to go with Kubota and I am glade that I did because I have needed parts and I was able to get them the same day or within two days of ordering. I do know if that we have been the case with the Jimna tractors. If there were a local dealer where I could see the tractor and know that they had a inventory of parts, I would have brought the Jimna tractor because of the cost and that it seems to be a pretty good tractor for your basic needs. But I can not live without my Hydrastat and Jimna is not there yet on that technology yet but if they do, I will go back and visit it again. Thanks for asking. My recommendation for anyone on these tractors is if you have a local dealer go for it otherwise stay away from. ....

I own a Nortrac 204C and I am very happy with it. Nothern has ben very good to me. Yes they(Jinma)don't have the best looking castings and yes they don't have the fit and finish of JD or NH but I have money left over to buy impliments. I bought unit to work with not as a show unit. Oh by the way the other compact tractors your refering to? They are made in china also. Nortrac is fine for the money and you can find all the parts you need for these units. And the service if you don't want to diy. Bolton is also a good dealer. There are quite afew dealers around to help you.
