Can anyone tell me whether the 3 cylinder diesel engine in my TG1860 sparks every revolution or every other revolution.Trying to buy a digital rpm/hour meter and it seems I have to know this info.I'm lost and need your guidance.Kind Regards,Louis Garr

Louis, a diesel engine does not operate the same as a gasoline engine. There are no spark plugs. The fuel/air mixture is fired by heat generated by extremely high compression. Most of the tach/hour meters you refer to are operated mechanically, from the engine. Your Kubota dealer should be able to provide the correct device for your tractor. ....

Louis, it does sound as if you're looking a tach/hour meter that picks up off an ignition wire, and like Dave said, you don't have such on a diesel engine. Of course, your engine is a 4 stroke rather than a 2 stroke, but for what you need to know, that's no help. ....
