Go BottomJD 4300 Dies When Shifting into gear

When putting the sync reverser into gear the tractor will die. I've jumpered the switch under the seat but this hasn't solved the probem.
Can anyone offer an additional solution? The tractor is currently stuck out in the pasture and cannot be moved!
I would sure appreciate some simple steps to follow for someone who is electrical circuit "challenged".

Check under tractor for a loose wire connection. I'd pull each connection apart spray with electrical spray (wd40 works also) just to make sure you do not miss something that looks connected. ....

check seat switch and your nfr maybe bad sorry it could get spendy ....
