How much noise should a Kubota b5200 tractor manuel tranny make.I was looking at one earlier today.I noticed the tranny having a slight wineing noise to it,it stops when you push in the clutch.Is this normal?

There would be some noise to the transmission. It should stop when the clutch is depressed but it should not be a grating sound. ....
